One person was hospitalized, and one was left dead in a crash on East Main Street in Duncan on Sunday, Jan. 29th. The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said the driver of Traffic Unit 2 hit Traffic Unit 1 as the driver of Traffic Unit 1 was trying to turn from a private driveway. It is unclear what the driver of Traffic Unit 2’s current condition is. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was identified as 90-year-old Fred William Burnett Senior from Moore. Burnett succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
