Narrative
SPARTANBURG, SC – A 68-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on the fourth of July along the interstate on the west side of Spartanburg.
The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on the westbound side of I-26 near mile marker 21. This is near WestGate Mall.
Police say that a westbound car struck a pickup truck while changing lanes on the interstate, causing the pickup to leave the roadway, crash, and overturn.
The accident killed the driver of the pickup truck, whom authorities identified as Mark Hunt.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.
