Narrative
SALUDA, SC – An elderly man from Saluda died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident along the highway in Saluda.
The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on US-378 near Barr Woods Road, which is on the northeast outskirts of the city.
Police haven’t specified the cause of the collision, but they say it involved a rough-terrain vehicle and a pickup truck.
The driver of the rough-terrain vehicle, identified as 78-year-old Warren Butler Sr. died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the accident.
It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt.
