NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – One person died on Friday in a solo crash at a North Charleston intersection.
The accident happened midday in the area of Allwood Avenue and Popperdam Creek Drive, which is northwest of Palmetto Scholars Academy.
Police haven’t yet spoken to the circumstances of the collision, nor have they released the victim’s identity.
Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
