Narrative

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC – A multi-vehicle crash on the Robert Edge Parkway resulted in the death of a man from Longs on Sunday.

Police say two vehicles collided on the bridge between Highway 17 and Old Sanders Drive.

An unidentified 41-year-old man from Longs suffered fatal injuries in the crash. All other individuals involved were taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, investigators believe impairment may have been a factor.
