Narrative
DORCHESTER CO., SC – A two-vehicle crash along the highway in northern Dorchester County killed an elderly man on Monday evening.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. along US-15 just after the exit from I-15 southbound, which is between St. George and Wells.
Police say that the victim’s 2008 Cadillac was entering US-15 southbound from the I-15 ramp when it struck a southbound 2012 GMC pickup.
The driver of the Cadillac, identified as 88-year-old Kenneth Brewer, died at the scene.
A passenger in the Cadillac went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The other driver was not hurt in the collision.
