One died following a left-turn crash at Highway 90 and Pint Circle in Longs around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3. South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 tried to make a left turn on Pint Circle when he or she struck Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 was unharmed. However, the driver of Traffic Unit 1 succumbed to fatal injuries.
