GREER, SC – A motorcyclist died late Friday morning after colliding with an 18-wheeler at an intersection in east-central Greenville County.
The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. at SC-80 and Old Highway 14, which is on the southwest end of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
The investigation indicates that a motorcycle crashed into a semi-truck as the latter vehicle attempted to make a left turn from Old Highway 14 onto SC-80.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the motorcyclist.
