Narrative
TAYLORS, SC – Two people died, and one person went to the hospital Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in east-central Greenville County.
The accident happened near the intersection of Wade Hampton Boulevard and Shady Lane, which is just west of Target and The Home Depot.
The investigation indicates that a northbound 2019 Kia Stinger collided head-on with a southbound 2012 Ford Escape, at which point the latter vehicle left the roadway.
Both the driver and the passenger in the Ford died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their names to the public.
Medics transported the driver of the Kia to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
