Narrative
GREER, SC – A pedestrian died Thursday after a vehicle struck them on a busy roadway in east-central Greenville County.
The incident happened at 12:17 a.m. in the city of Greer near the intersection of Brushy Creek Road and Berry Road.
Police say that an eastbound vehicle hit the pedestrian near the intersection. It’s unclear if the victim was using a designated crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The driver of the vehicle remained at this scene to render aid and speak with authorities.
Officials have not yet released the name of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
