Narrative

One person died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 414 near Brooks Drive in Travelers Rest around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19th. For reasons unknown, the driver of Traffic Unit 1 lost control of his or her vehicle, which went off the road. The driver then overcorrected, went off course again, and collided with a utility pole and tree. The victim succumbed to fatal injuries.
