Narrative
RAVENEL, SC – A 27-year-old woman died three weeks ago in a single-vehicle crash in the western suburbs of Charleston.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Wednesday, December 11, along SC-162 near Buckeye Road. This is in the city of Ravenel.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a westbound vehicle left the highway and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as Sammantha Thomas, died at the scene of the crash. Authorities say Thomas was from Washington D.C.
