NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A 66-year-old old North Charleston woman died just over a week ago from injuries sustained in a pedestrian crash late last month.
Debra McIntyre went to the hospital on Saturday, September 28th, after a vehicle struck her just after 8:30 p.m. along a busy North Charleston roadway.
The incident occurred in the area of Midland Park Road and Orvin Street, which is just northeast of Charleston International Airport and northwest of Midland Park Primary School.
McIntryre died from her injuries the evening of Friday, October 4th, at Trident Medical Center.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the details of the accident. While details regarding the driver are limited, police have to referred to the crash as a hit-and-run.
